But Jay-Z didn't appear to have any complaints as his stunning wife Beyoncé strutted around in a pair of tiny denim hot pants as he took her out for a romantic meal for two.
The pair were spotted leaving Italian eatery Nello's in New York on Saturday night, their favourite eating establishment.
Diva Beyoncé looked ravishing in her ensemble, which she teamed with a pink checked jacket, T-shirt and plenty of bling.
She was wearing a pair of pink suede Christian Louboutin 'Maggie' heels, which Kelly Brook was spotted in earlier this year.
The tottering £595 stilettos, which boast a 5 1/2 inch heel an come complete with a golden plated toe cap, are the same heels worn by Beckham to a Los Angeles basketball game in October, but in a different colour.
The leg factor: The singer dined at Nello's Italian restaurant with husband Jay-ZAfter their meal the couple made their way to their huge 4x4 and slinked off into the night.
It comes amid reports Beyoncé is expecting her first child with the rapper and music producer.
And with her hand concealing her stomach in these photographs, it will do little to dampen speculation.
Last month sources close to the star dismissed the reports.
