But spotted running errands near her north London home yesterday, it looks like the redhead Scot is quickly realising she is becoming a tabloid favourite.

Clearly unprepared for the photographers, the 22-year-old was looking a bit rundown and tired as she picked up some shopping with her photographer boyfriend Patrick Green.

In contrast to her usual flawless appearance, the former model had succumbed to a spot of blotchy skin and had a few spots around her chin.

In a recent interview, Gillan admitted she wasn't as confident as her Doctor Who character Amy Pond.

She said: 'I still see myself as a girl. Amy is a lot cooler than me. She has a different walk from me. She struts. She's bad.'

She said: 'It is full-on snogging. My boyfriend is surprisingly cool with it.'

The singer, who won Dancing With The Stars in the U.S. earlier this year with professional dancer Derek Hough, who is rumoured to dating Cheryl Cole, opted for the high street number after wearing Victoria Beckham designs for the past two days.

Normally she'd be supporting Hamilton, 25, from the stands, but today she had work to do as she embarked upon her third day as a guest judge for the hit ITV show.

For the first two days, Nicole turned up for X Factor auditions in Manchester wearing outfits designed by Victoria Beckham.

Yesterday she wore a short black dress with exaggerated shoulders and a peplum skirt which Posh wore for a night out in Paris last December.

A day earlier the Pussycat Doll arrived in a figure-hugging grey dress, which accentuated her curves.

Scherzinger, who will appear alongside Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh on the judging panel for the auditions, has been lined up as a judge on X Factor U.S., according to reports.

The U.S. version is due to start in 2011, but so far, only Cowell has been confirmed for the judging panel.

A source told Radar Online that the Pussycat Doll will have a chance to impress Cowell on the UK show and get the inside story on the U.S. version at the same time.

Sean Garrett, the producer of Rihanna's new album told the press last week that the singer is getting back to more 'happy' and 'upbeat' music.

He said things got serious for a while on Rated R as she told the story of her beating and subsequent break up from ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, but that she's now making a return to her Pon de Replay and Umbrella roots.

She went on to explain that it was crucial for her to move on from Brown.

'I just wanted to wake up one day and not have that pain anymore,' she said.

Sophie, 20, and George first stepped out in public in March but she told him this week that she just wants to be friends.

George posted a message on his Facebook site on the internet warning people to 'mind their own business' and replaced a photo of the couple together with a picture of himself on his profile.

Friends left messages of support, offering him get-away breaks and told him to 'keep his chin up'.

A close friend told how George, who suffered from leukaemia as a child, said: 'They were really close and almost like best friends.

'They had been out together loads of times but Sophie decided she wanted to see other people.

George was first spotted out in public with Sophie on March 29 at a London party hosted by Walker's Crisps.

She was was reportedly seen drinking red wine with her bodyguard by her side at the bar at St Jeromes, the venue where Carl is employed.

'She was playing it really cool. You would not have known they were together,' a witness told the New York Post.

Rumours about the couple are such that staff at the hip bar have been told to tell anyone enquiring Carl to deny knowing him, with a sign near the telephone that instructs them to say to callers: 'I don't know Luc.'

The star took her Monster Ball tour to Canada over the weekend and tonight is set to play in Cleveland, Ohio.

Speaking about the shoot, Joy Division director Traviss said: 'It was a really old place in Somerset and it has a very creepy history.

'It was built in 1492 and I was told the last witch burning was in the grounds.
'There was also an exorcism there in the early 18th century and the markings from that are still on one of the fireplaces.'

And while Traviss's movie is set for a straight to DVD release on July 19, at least his personal life is going well.

Amy, who met the director after being introduced by a mutual friend, is so thrilled with the relationship that she has already declared that Traviss is 'the one'.

She told the Daily Mirror earlier this month: 'It's good, it's going well, it's going really well. He's looking after me, he's a really good guy.

'Things are good now. He's really good influence on me. I'm a lucky girl.'

And the new pairing has also been welcomed by Amy's father Mitch Winehouse, who seemed relieved that Amy had found a 'normal bloke' after her turbulent on/off relationship with Fielder-Civil.

Mitch said: 'I’m happy she’s moving on with her life. He’s a normal bloke, very nice.

'He’s a really nice chap. They’re very fond of each other, so we will have to see how it goes.'
