Watch out, Miami! Jersey Shore cast hit Florida to film second season of hit reality show

Here come the girls: The stars of Jersey Shore hit a beach in Florida yesterday as they began filming season two of the popular MTV reality series


They terrorised the Jersey Shore holiday resort with their fist pumping, hook-ups and almighty bust-ups.

Now the Italian-American cast of the surprise hit reality show, which is currently airing in the UK on MTV, has descended on Florida to start filming season two.

Self-styled 'guidettes' Jenni 'JWoww' Farley and Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi were spotted topping up their tans on Miami Beach yesterday.

Angelina 'Jolie' Pivarnick, who describes herself 'the Kim Kardashian of Staten Island', joined in too despite quitting the first season after only three episodes

Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola sat out the beach visit, perhaps spending time with her on-again, off-again boyfriend and co-star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.

The rest of the self-proclaimed 'guidos' - Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, Paul 'DJ Pauly D' DelVecchio - were busy with GTL. That's a morning routine of gym, tanning and laundry for the uninitiated.

The cast quickly went from complete unknowns to household names in the U.S. after they spent the summer holidaying in a houseshare on the New Jersey Shore.

MTV cameras followed the twentysomethings as they partied at seaside nightclubs - hitting the dancefloor with a move they call 'beating the beat' - and occasionally worked in a T-shirt store.

The female stars got involved in fights with other 'broads' while the muscly men went 'creepin'' - known as looking for love to the rest of us.

But it seems the cast are having a tougher time recording the second season, with sources revealing they can't get into any of Miami's hot clubs with their MTV cameras.

'No one wants them to tape here. They went to the W Hotel the other night and got rejected,' an insider told the New York Post.

'They were also refused by the Delano, Shore Club and the Mondrian.'

But they did make it into Tantra nightclub on Monday night where - spoiler alert! - newly single Snooki and The Situation were spotted kissing.
