Michael Jackson always maintained he was blighted by a rare skin disease called vitiligo.

And it seems his eldest son, Prince Michael may be suffering from the same problem.

The 13-year-old revealed white patches under his arm while on a recent holiday to Hawaii with his siblings Paris, 12 and Prince Michael II, eight.

While there is the possibility it was the result of sun exposure, it appeared more dramatic than peeling skin.

Vitiligo is a hereditary skin condition which discolours the face and body.

Jackson, who died last year at the age of 50, blamed the disease for the gradual lightening of his own skin over the years.

His claim was always met with some scepticism from critics, who accused him of intentionally bleaching his skin.

Now that Prince Michael is showing signs of similar symptoms, some are convinced it is evidence Jackson really WAS the teen's biological parent.

For years the paternity of Jackon's children has been under question because of the difference in skin tone.

But a family source is quoted as telling American tabloid The Globe: 'It proves once and for all that Michael is the father!'

Prince Michael and his sister Paris were born to Debbie Rowe, Michael's wife from 1996 to 1999.

Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket, was born to an unknown surrogate after the divorce.

Forget OC, it was more a case of 'Oh dear' as Mischa Barton took a stroll to an art gallery in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old actress looked as though she had just stumbled out of bed with her blonde hair extensions a complete mess.

The star, who was visiting the Hammer Museum ( or should that be the Hammered Musuem?), has had a run of bad luck recently.


She bought a bright blue classic Cadillac convertible earlier this year. But the vintage motor has been nothing but trouble for the actress, breaking down several times in the last few months.

The failure of her car to stay roadworthy is just another setback for the actress who spent time in a psychiatric ward last year. Her TV show The Beautiful Life was cancelled after just a few episodes.

She is currently doing some promotional work for various companies, and recently attended the Cannes Film Festival.

After Kelly Brook and Danny Cipriani announced they were 'taking a break' last week, many assumed the model would be taking the break-up the hardest.

But as the former couple holidayed nearly 4,000 miles apart yesterday, it looked like the brunette beauty has swiftly got over her relationship breakdown.

While lonely Cipriani, 22, was spotted looking sombre on the streets of Los Angeles, his former lover was lapping up male attention as she flaunted her stunning figure on the beach in Barbados.

The 30-year-old model has been guaranteeing plenty of photo opportunities in a variety of colourful swimwear since arriving in the Caribbean on Saturday.

Spotted laughing and joking with locals and male holidaymakers, it looked like the love split was the last thing on Ms Brook's mind.

Starting the day off in a sexy cut-out blue swimsuit, before changing into pink two-piece, it was no surprise to see the model surrounded by men, perhaps hoping to take Cipriani's place.

After enjoying a jet skiing session with a male friend Sam Watson, 16, on Monday, Brook and her new friend donned their lifejackets again for a second ride on the waves on Tuesday.

The teenager is the son of the star's old friend, New Zealand tycoon Eric Watson, 50, The Sun reported today.

While the pair cosied up on the same jet ski on Monday, Ms Brook evidently felt more confident by herself yesterday.

Arriving on the beach yesterday in a crocheted dress, the model couldn't wait to get out of the heat and into the cool waters of the Caribbean.

Maybe it was the heat of the sand, but Kelly couldn't wait to get into the sea as she broke into a mini sprint while desperately trying to remove the dress.

Her mission accomplished, she soon emerged from the sea looking suitably refreshed.

It was day four for the actress and model who has been licking her wounds after splitting from toyboy lover Cipriani.

And it seems she has no shortage of willing companions, as she accompanied on a beach stroll earlier in the week by another handsome man.

She was also spotted leaving a club in Kensington with a man who was a dead ringer for 22-year-old Cipriani.

According to The Mirror, the rugby player's fanatical female following 'got a bit too much' for the 30-year-old.

'Danny is a young, good-looking sports star and he couldn't help women throwing themselves at him. But it got a bit too much for Kelly,' said a source.

After lunch, the brunette gave photographers a treat as she changed into yet another item of swimwear - her fifth so far - a pink bikini.

Yesterday, following an early morning kayaking session with her female friends in an orange animal-print bikini, Brook changed into a £80 blue Vix two-piece for her jet skiing session.

Brook has been enjoying a girlie holiday on the Caribbean island since the weekend following her split from Cipriani last week.

Brook and Cipriani, 22, decided to 'take a break' from their relationship after 22 months together, despite the model having made the difficult decision to relocate to Australia with Cipriani after he signed up to play rugby with an Australian team.

Their split was announced just days after MailOnline revealed Cipriani was spotted getting friendly with Canadian 90210 actress Jessica Lowndes at a pre-Wimbledon party in Kensington.

Kelly has however bounced back from the split enjoying nights out with girlfriends and even sharing a night out with Glee star Matthew Morrison - and a kiss - after watching the World Cup together.

With her eyes closed and a look of pure joy on her face, Vanessa Paradis looked as though she was completely in the zone as she performed in Paris yesterday.

The 37-year-old actress, who has two children with actor Johnny Depp, wore a chic casual outfit of a black vest top and grey jeans at the Solidays festival.

The performance was a return to the stage for Vanessa, who has recently been busy promoting her new movie L'Arnacoeur (Heartbreaker).

The French film, which tells the story of a professional relationship splitter, played by Romain Duris, who falls in love with Vanessa's character when he is hired to break up her engagement.

It has already proved a huge hit in France, and Vanessa thinks she knows why, explaining in a recent interview: 'It's an amazing story that takes place between a French woman and an American man when travelling wasn't as easy as it is today.

'It's a crazy beautiful story between two very strong personalities. It's a love story

She said: 'I don't know if I can act facing Johnny, to tell you the truth, we've made music together, but we've never acted together.'

For a band who live in London and have played there on many occasions, you'd have thought that Girls Aloud would know the city like the back of their hands.

But in a big town it's easy to lose your sense of direction, as Kimberley Walsh discovered this weekend.

The girl band member looked around her in bewilderment as she left her hotel in central London this weekend.

Walsh, 29, and her assistant spent a few minutes standing around aimlessly, looking in both directions as they left the Sanderson Hotel.

Having concluded that they had no idea where they were going, it was down to a helpful local to show them the way.

Kimberley was snapped stopping to ask a restaurant owner directions, who gladly obliged.

She was tipped to present ITV2's spin off show The Xtra Factor for its upcoming new series, but the job went to former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq.

She recently starred in a documentary on Sky 1 called Kimberley Walsh: Blue Jean Girl, which focused on the singer delving into the world of denim, after struggling to find the perfect pair of jeans her herself.

She also recently denied rumours that Girls Aloud where splitting and told Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning: 'We’ve definitely not split up, but we are enjoying trying out new things.

'It's funny because even though we are not together we are still supporting each other in our own little pathways, so it feels like you have got them with you. But no, we’ve not split up.'

Katie Price dismissed rumours that she had fled to Paris with pre-wedding jitters by appearing with Alex Reid in London last night.

The couple were spotted leaving the ITV studios together as speculation grows they will renew their wedding vows in a ceremony this week.

The sighting puts to rest rumours that the glamour model was getting cold feet ahead of the ceremony and needed ‘time to herself’.


The mother-of-three was dressed down in a canary-yellow tracksuit and Ugg boots


She and her cage fighting husband first tied the knot in Las Vegas four months ago.

They have said the second ceremony will be a chance for their friends and family to see them exchanging their vows.

The event will also be captured on camera in all its glory for an ITV show.

Katie & Alex: For Better For Worse, will be shown as a three-part special on ITV2.

The show will follow the couple during preparations for their summer wedding bash, the blessing itself and their honeymoon.

The pair’s visit to ITV yesterday comes as it was announced Katie is set to quit the channel after a signing a new exclusive deal with the Living TV channels.

Her hit fly-on-the-wall shows have been a mainstay of ITV2 for several years.

But her firm, Pricey Media, has now struck a deal with Virgin Media Television, making it the broadcaster's biggest independent supplier, when her ITV contract runs out in November.

Centrepiece of her programmes will be an observational series for Living which will pick up from ITV2's What Katie Did Next, due to air next year.

And there will be a new six-part ‘factual entertainment" series fronted by Price, as well as pilot shows for Living and Bravo to be created by the production company.

Reports suggest the two-year deal is worth £10million.

Meanwhile Katie's daughter with Peter Andre celebrated her third birthday today at Katie and Alex's new home.

Selena Gomez and Leighton Meester slip into swimsuits to film new movie in France

Selena Gomez and Leighton Meester soaked up the sun in the South of France today - but it was for business, not pleasure.

The were spotted strolling around the foreshore in swimming costumes while shooting scenes for their upcoming movie, Monte Carlo.

Disney darling Selena, 17, wore a turquoise two-piece while Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, 23, was decked out in a deep purple one piece.

They were also joined by their bikini-clad co-star Katie Cassidy, 23 from the TV show Melrose Place.

Selena and Leighton were seen boarding a private plane to Monte Carlo yesterday, having just finished filming scenes in the romantic city of Paris.

Selena was snapped shopping at the Guerlain counter at Galeries Lafayette yesterday in Paris, but carried a bag of Laudree macaroons onto her flight.

Leighton opted to bring her guitar along, perhaps for a sing-a-long.

All three actresses certainly appeared to be enjoying some female bonding time as they soaked up the sun in Monte Carlo.

Taking the lead role in Monte Carlo is a major step forward for Selena.

The Wizards of Waverly Place star replaced Nicole Kidman, 43, when the film makers decided they wanted to gear the movie to a younger audience.

However, Nicole is still on board as a producer and the film is set to be released on February 11, 2011.

Monte Carlo is loosely based on the novel Headhunters by Jules Bass.

The three actresses play friends who pose as socialites in Monaco after Selena's character is mistaken as a wealthy British heiress.

Glastonbury Festival 2010: Snoop Dogg wows the crowd with his foul-mouthed performance, before making another appearance during Gorillaz's set

Rapper Snoop Dogg put Glastonbury Festival's hippie reputation behind it once and for all today with an aggressive, foul-mouthed performance which delighted revellers on the opening day of the festival.

In 1970, when organiser Michael Eavis first opened his farm to festival-goers, it was all long hair and free love but since Jay-Z's headline slot two years ago the Glasto crowd has embraced hip hop.

And Snoop Dogg did not disappoint.

The bad boy of West Coast American rap got the crowd's adrenaline pumping with a blistering set of hits including Who am I (What's my name?) and Drop it Like it's Hot.


Snoop, a former member of notorious LA gang The Crips, was one of the highlights of the opening day of the festival, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary.

The 38-year-old wore a white vest and large white shades and attracted easily the biggest crowd of the day so far. Some fans even climbed a 20ft wooden sculpture to get a better view.

And watching from the side of the stage British rapper Dizzee Rascal, who plays later on the same stage, sang along with every word.

This year's festival has seen something of a rarity - blazing sun and soaring temperatures.

And forecasters are predicting more of the same for the rest of the festival.

Earlier revellers at the Pyramid Stage were treated to the rather more sedate musings of country legend Willie Nelson who raced through a plethora of hits as the sun blazed down.

Thousands packed the front of the stage to sing along in what has proved to be one of Glastonbury's more unlikely success stories.

And on the Other Stage punk survivors The Stranglers turned back the clock with breathless renditions of favourites No More Heroes, Peaches and Golden Brown.

Bassist Jean-Jacques Burnel asked the crowd: 'Is it hot enough for you? I hope you brought some protection.'

Crowds started gathering early in front of the main stage to watch Gorillaz, who headlined the opening night after stepping in at the last minute to replace U2 whose frontman Bono had to undergo back surgery ruling the Irish band out.

Gorillaz - the brainchild of Blur's Damon Albarn - are a virtual band made up of characters 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russel Hobbs.

In an amazing set which featured a variety of instruments and a 'Plastic Beach' set, Albarn sang his heart out in front of an adoring crowd.

Snoop Dogg also featured in the band's opening song, but only on a video behind the stage where he appeared dressed as a ship captain - complete with top hat and periscope.

It was Albarn's second Glastonbury headline slot in as many years after reforming Blur for a triumphant gig at last year's festival.

Whispers around the festival site earlier today suggested that Ausralian pop star Kylie Minogue would finally be making an appearance after being forced to pull out five years ago when she was diagnosed with breast cancer have been confirmed.

Kylie said, during an interview for BBC1's Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, she will play with Scissor Sisters during their Pyramid Stage performance tomorrow night.

But backstage talk of American pop eccentric Lady Gaga being on site have so far proved to be just that.

A festival spokesman said with a smile: 'Yes ... I have heard the rumours.'

So far there have been 163 reported crimes on site and 47 arrests. More than 1,000 people have been treated in the medical tent - most for sun stroke.

Dr Kieren Bong, said: 'The most important thing is to stay covered all the time. Either wear a hat or, although it's not very glamorous, use an umbrella.

'Cover the whole of the anatomy and try to stay out of the sun as much as possible.'

New York indie outfit Vampire Weekend followed Snoop on to the Pyramid Stage.

The band put on a spirited performance taken mainly from their latest album, Contra.

Over on the Other Stage, another big crowd sang every word of Florence And The Machine's triumphant set.

Lead singer Florence Welch, 23, ripped through her back catalogue - which is already proving impressive even though the band only formed three years ago.

Welch, wearing a tiny white outfit, said: 'This is my fourth Glastonbury in a row and I started singing in the Tea Tent at breakfast so it is great to be back again.'
