Daredevil: Pink fell out of the harness, similar to this one seen at the Isle of Wight Festival last month, during the concert in Nuremberg, Germany

Pink was rushed to hospital last night after a stage stunt during her show in Nuremberg, Germany, went horribly wrong.

The 30-year-old singer, who is famous for her acrobatic stage routines, fell out of a harness high above the stage during a particularly difficult move as part of her Funhouse tour.

Pink was then rushed off stage and taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

However, the singer quickly took to her Twitter page to reassure fans who were left terrified by the dramatic accident.

She wrote: 'To all my nurnberg fans- I am so so so sorry to end the show that way.I am embarassed and very sorry. I'm in ambulance now but I will b fine.'

Pink then explained that the accident had happened because she hadn't been secured in her harness correctly, tweeting: 'Didn't get clipped in2 harness correctly, drug me off stage, fell in2 barricade. Getting xrays.I hope it at least looked cool!!!'

After being checked over by doctors, Pink explained that she was absolutely fine after the accident, and was just 'sore'.

She said: 'Ok all my lovers out there- nothings broken, no fluid in the lungs, just seriously sore. I made that barricade my b*tch!!!! Thanx nurnberg:('
The singer also proved she hadn't lost her sense of humour after the accident, replying to a fan who tweeted that she had lost her battle against the barrier: 'Nooo! I WON!'

Reassuring: Pink took to her Twitter after the accident to tell fans she was fine

Pink has always wowed fans with her over-the-top stage routines and acrobatic displays on trapezes.

Explaining recently why she had taken such inspiration from the circus, Pink said: 'All of us when we were little probably wanted to run away and join the circus because it’s full of what mainstream society considers freakish and the outcasts, and it’s kind of sexy and exciting and big and over the top.'
