Delight: Jennifer Lopez was all smiles as she unveiled the Boys and Girls Clubs Youth Advocacy Campaign in New York's yesterday

Jennifer Lopez unveiled her latest advertising campaign today, but there was not a smouldering look or provocative outfit in sight.

In fact, the 40-year-old performer dug into her old family album for the shot - a childhood portrait from her early school days.

The image shows the young J.Lo wearing plaited pigtails and a sweet checked pinafore and it appears alongside the words, 'Be Extraordinary'.

The Jenny From The Block star has lent her support to the Boys and Girls Clubs Youth Advocacy Campaign and attended today's launch with her husband Marc Anthony.

The star, whose twins Emme and Max sat the afternoon out, was dressed in a sparklingly mini dress.

And she giggled with delight as she first clapped eyes on the giant sign.

She credits the club's 'K company' performing arts program with encouraging her to sing and dance as young girl.

Jennifer is an alumnus of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club in the Bronx, and she learned to and dance as a member of the club's renowned K Company performing arts program.

Jennifer has had a busy few days - she was a guest star at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, where she put on a spectacular dance display in Tom Cruise's Les Grossman skit.
