It only seems like yesterday that fresh-faced twentysomething Matt LeBlanc was charming TV audiences in Friends.

But after the spin-off show Joey was axed four years ago, LeBlanc has decided to let his natural grey hair grow through.

Spotted leaving Nobu in London last night, the 42-year-old looked distinguished with his silver locks.

While LeBlanc has been letting his hair age naturally for quite a while now, it appeared he had lost weight from the more portly figure he was carrying earlier this year.

LeBlanc is currently in London to film his role in Episodes, a new BBC2 comedy-about-a-comedy series.

The actor plays a parody of himself in the show and is humiliated when he is asked to audition to play 'Matt LeBlanc' in a new programme.

The incredulous LeBlanc rages to his agent: 'Wait... I'd be playing myself? And I have to read? The name of the character is Matt LeBlanc and I have to audition?'

When his agent assures him he'll get the part, LeBlanc replies: 'Well how can I not get it?'

When the disgusted LeBlanc arrives at the auditions, he sits in a waiting room full of LeBlanc wannabes practising Joey Tribbiani's famous chat-up line 'How you doin'?'

LeBlanc was only 27 when he started on Friends, which first aired in 1994, and he went on to play womaniser Joey for the next 10 years.

When the show finished in 2004, Matt starred in a spin-off called Joey, showing his character moving to LA to continue his acting career, but it was axed after two series.

After his marriage to Melissa McKnight ended in 2006 amid tabloid revelations of an incident with a lapdancer, LeBlanc appeared to have taken a step back from Hollywood, with Episodes being one of his first roles in years.

LeBlanc is moving into producing after financing new action western Jonah Hex, which stars Josh Brolin and Megan Fox.
