Renee Zellweger gives $100 coffee voucher after man saves her from parking fine

A grateful Renee Zellweger presented a photographer with a $100 Starbucks voucher yesterday after he saved her from getting a parking fine.

The Oscar winner was in the middle of ordering her drinks in Santa Monica when a paparazzo outside spotted her parking meter was about to expire.

With Zellweger in the middle of ordering, the gentleman dashed outside the store and put a few coins in the meter, saving her from being fined by a traffic warden.

So when the the 40-year-old actress finally got around to paying for her caffeine fix, she asked them for a $100 voucher to present as a thank you.

On the back of the voucher, she wrote a note saying: 'Wow. Thank you so much for the kindness. Warmly, with gratitude. Renee.'

Zellweger appeared dressed for the gym as she did her coffee run in a pair of leggings, trainers and hoodie yesterday.

The actress is currently between films after recently completing new comedy My Own Love Song alongside Nick Nolte and Forest Whitaker.

She has also signed on to reprise her role as singleton Bridget Jones in the second sequel, which is scheduled for release next year.

Meanwhile, she has plenty of time to hang out with her boyfriend Bradley Cooper.

The couple have been dating quietly since August and have been spotted together in Barcelona and Vancouver.

The actor recently denied rumours the couple had bought a house together, insisting that his recent purchase of a $5million home in LA had been for himself only.

The pair were forced to spend Valentine's Day apart last month due to Zellweger's commitment as juror at the Berlinale festival in Germany.

At the time Cooper said: 'My mother is coming to visit and we are going to have a nice Valentine’s Day.'
