Demi Moore still fuming over airbrushing row as she steps out in shapely black dress at fundraiser

By Daily Mail Reporter

Chic: Demi Moore shows off her figure in a black dress and heels at the A Night At Sardi's fundraising gala for Alzheimers in Los Angeles last night

However, the actress hit back on her Twitter page, saying: 'My hips were not touched... it's just the way u have ur hip kinda swung to one side... y can no one see this!? Idiots!'

She then added: 'I love the pic and can only say I wish I had good lighting like that following me around all day!!'

Four months after the row, it appears Moore is still unhappy about the incident.

She tells the new issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine: 'Ok, that is literally my shape.

'(What really bothered me) wasn't that people were saying it was retouched, it was that they were saying my hip was so badly botched because a hunk of it was taken out.

Controversy: The cover image of the December issue of W magazine prompted a debate about airbrushing

'I called the photographers, and they said, "We did not touch anything on your hip, your thigh, or your waist. It was the position."'

At one point, some critics even suggested the magazine may have put Moore's head onto the body of model Anja Rubik, who wore the same dress at the Balmain catwalk show earlier last year.

A spokesman for W said at the time: 'W did not do anything unusual or out of the ordinary on Demi Moore for the photo on the cover of W. Demi is an extraordinarily beautiful woman and we feel our cover reflects that.'

In the new interview with Harper's Bazaar, Moore said she hates being labelled a cougar because of her 15 year age gap with husband Ashton Kutcher.
She said: 'Cougar has become so distasteful.'

Admitting she'd rather be called a puma, she soon found out the phrase is used to describe women in their Thirties who dates a younger man.

She continued: 'Puma has a sweeter quality, more elegant. And then somebody said to me, "Pumas are only for people in their 30s."'

Moore's latest comments on the airbrushing row came as she attended an Alzheimers fundraising gala in Beverly Hills with Kutcher last night.

The actress looked stunning as she showed off her svelte figure in a black knee-length dress and matching heels.

Meanwhile, Moore and fellow actress Nia Vardalos have been linked to an online chain of Twitter posts which resulted in Florida authorities intervening when a young man threatened to commit suicide.

Moore re-Tweeted the man's post on her page, asking: 'R U really asking 4 help?'
My Big Fat Greek Wedding actress Vardalos got involved and phoned police on behalf of the troubled man.

Liet. Sonia Pisano from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said they had received two calls around 2:30 a.m., one from California and one from Vancouver, British Columbia saying someone had threatened to commit suicide on Twitter.

Writing on her page today, Moore said: 'Thank you Twitterverse for your help supporting someone in pain last night.'

Vardalos said: 'Am a little shaken. Just want to say thank u Twitter for caring about a stranger in FL last night.'
