Family affair: Nicole Kidman holds hands with husband Keith Urban as they arrive with his parents Marienne and Bob at a restaurant in Sydney to celebrate her mother's 70th birthday
When you're a Hollywood star who's in high demand, it can be hard trying to get some quality time with your family.
And when you live on the other side of the world to them it can prove to be even more difficult.
So clearing her busy schedule was a must for Nicole Kidman as she and husband Keith Urban jetted off to Australia to spend time with their folks and celebrate her mother's 70th birthday.
Nicole and Keith were snapped hand-in-hand as they arrived at a restaurant in Sydney last night with his parents Bob and Marienne.
Moments earlier, her mother Janelle and father Anthony were pictured arriving in a chauffeur-driven car to start the birthday celebrations.
And while most A-listers would choose some fancy Michelin-starred restaurant to celebrate a very important birthday, Nicole and her family kept it very low-key, settling for some Turkish cuisine at a restaurant underneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge

Earlier in the day, Nicole and Keith were joined by her parents when they took their 20-month-old daughter Sunday Rose to Sydney's Greenwich Baths.
Nicole, Keith and Sunday Rose flew into Sydney from Los Angeles last weekend after snubbing the Oscars to spend some time on the other side of the world with their families.
It has so far proved to be a pretty inconspicuous trip home for Nicole, her presence in her hometown having gone fairly unnoticed thanks to the media hype surrounding model Lara Bingle and Australian cricket vice-captain Michael Clarke, who announced on Friday that they had broken off their engagement.

Since landing in Australia, Nicole, Keith and Sunday have been staying at their Southern Highlands mansion in Sutton Forest.
Local man Greg Barnsley said: 'No one had any idea they were here.'
A source close to Nicole added: 'She and Keith wanted to be treated like anyone else when they came over from the U.S. at Christmas by flying on a commercial airline and happy to say 'G'day' to photographers when they arrived.
'This time they have been able to move around like anyone else and they have absolutely loved being able to do that.'
