The 22-year-old arrived at Mahiki in Mayfair with a long flowing mane that featured gentle on-trend curls.
But the new look may not have been the wisest choice for Alexandra, given it revealed damage to the pop star's natural hairline.
It seems years of wearing tight hair extensions - or a weave as it's more commonly known - have taken a toll on her own hair.
Celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears are all reported to have suffered hair loss as a result of their extensions.
But true to form, the always upbeat Alexandra didn't let it get her down.

A source told the Mirror: 'At the end of the night, Alex asked if he needed a life home.
'He didn't need asking twice.'
Despite having no shortage of admirers - James Corden once sent her a £4,000 watch - Alex has been single since winning the competition in 2008.
She said last year: 'I have never been in love but I want to feel that. I'm ready for it.'
A spokesperson for Alexandra was not available for comment when contacted by Mail Online about her companion
