Kerry Katona looks delighted as she introduces new boyfriend Adam to her mother

Meeting the parents can be nerve-wracking for any new couple.

Thankfully for Kerry Katona, she had nothing to worry about as she introduced her new man to her mother yesterday.

Kerry, 29, took boyfriend Adam Waldron to meet her mother Sue - and they got on so well they went for a walk hand-in-hand.

The reality TV star, who now lives in West Sussex, has been up in her home town of Warrington, Cheshire since the weekend, to spend some time with her new beau.

And yesterday she decided the time had come for him to meet her mother - and it couldn't have gone any better.

The trio couldn't stop smiling as they went for a walk together, at one point all holding hands as they strolled down the street.

Kerry looked the picture of summer in her red-and-white striped playsuit, her hair looking pretty round her shoulders.


That was the work of her local hairdresser, as Kerry spent another few hours in the salon getting her hair blowdried, thanking her stylist with a kiss as she left.

But clearly she wanted to look her best when introducing Adam, 33, to Sue that afternoon, although her smile proved to be much shinier than her hair.

Kerry and Adam have been friends for several years but started dating in April.

The former pop star has said she wants to keep her new relationship with the Cheshire-based handyman out of the public eye.

She told OK!: I really don't want to do a Katie Price and pose with every new boyfriend I have on the cover of a magazine. Let me have a bit of time with him first because I don't want to jinx anything.'

She also revealed that she had made him sign a confidentiality agreement, barring him from discussing their romance.

But yesterday Kerry appeared to eat her words after her public display of affection in front of the cameras with her new love.
