'He'll be distraught': Piers Morgan snubs Simon Cowell by not inviting him to his wedding

Having spent the last four years working together, you'd think Simon Cowell would be high up on Pier Morgan's wedding guest list.

But apparently not.

The former newspaper editor has decided that the music mogul will not be celebrating his nuptials, despite their close working relationship as judges on Britain's Got Talent.

And it's not just Cowell that won't be invited to Morgan's upcoming wedding to fiancée Celia Walden - Amanda Holden will not be going either.

Speaking to new! magazine, Piers, 45, said he and Celia, 33, are planning a celebrity-free celebration.

He said: 'Simon and Amanda will be distraught to hear that, but I’m planning a very, very small wedding and a big party.'

Piers also joked that Simon always manages to attract gorgeous women but is baffled why.

He said: 'Simon is always surrounded by glamorous women. What’s his secret? I really have no idea what they see in multi-millionaire Mr Simon Cowell.

'It’s a mystery. He tells me that he’s always been that attractive to women, but I’m not so sure.'

Piers is also known in the U.S. as one of the judges on America's Got Talent alongside Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff and is believed to be set to be signing a multi-million dollar deal to take over from talk show legend Larry King on CNN.

But he is also known for his own chat show, Piers Morgan's Life Stories, on which he has interviewed - and in some cases reduced to tears - guests such as Dannii Minogue, Ronnie Corbett, Simon Cowell and the former Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

When asked by new! about his dream guest, he said: 'Well, I might be landing a few of those so I really don’t know want to give away anything away.'
