Kylie Minogue gives the French a suitably raunchy performance in a daring slashed-to-the-hip dress

She may have turned 42 just a few weeks ago, but Kylie Minogue won't let a little thing like age get in the way of a headline-grabbing performance.

The Australian pop princess ensured all eyes were on her as she took to the stage in an electric blue dress that was slashed up to the hip on both sides.

Revealing acres of her shapely legs - and her non-coordinating underwear - she clearly has no plans to age gracefully.

Kylie wowed the audience at the M6 Mobile Music Live event held in Paris.

With her lighter blue underwear visible underneath, the tight-fitting dress wasn't a complete success as the tight belt straps pushed her flesh out at her side and hips in an unflattering manner.

Kylie performed her hit Can't Get You Out Of My Head, and new single All The Lovers from her forthcoming album Aphrodite surrounded by male and female dancers in front of a 25,000-strong crowd at the Parc départemental de l’Ile St Germain.

And it wasn't just Kylie who got raunchy - her dancers proceeded to strip down to their underwear during the song, just as they do in the video for the new song.

The show was filmed by French channel M6, and will be televised on June 26. The Australian pop princess revealed that the new single helped to inspire her entire LP.

'During its recording, I knew that it had to be the first single from the album because it perfectly reflects the euphoria.'

Playing up to her raunchy image, Kylie recently revealed a list of female celebrities that she would kiss: 'Angelina Jolie's experienced, so that helps. But as far as hot girls go, Scarlett Johansson. Megan Fox is beautiful as well.'

The singer, whose album is due for release on July 5, has vamped it up in recent weeks ahead of the launch.

She has been seen onstage in a number of sexy looks, as well as a daring photoshoot for US magazine Black Book.

She recently admitted that her sister Dannii's pregnancy has made her broody.

Kylie, already auntie to brother Brendan's two children, told New! magazine: 'It’s one thing my brother having children, but when it’s your little sister, it’s different. I guess it’s because we’re sisters – she’s a woman and she’s carrying a child.

'It really hit home to me when I saw her before she left [for Australia] and I was able to feel the baby kick.'
