Jennifer Aniston shares a tender kiss with Adam Sandler... but it's just for their new movie

Having spent the past few weeks shooting a romantic comedy in Hawaii, it was only a matter of time before Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler shared an on-screen kiss.

Fulfilling the predicable nature of the film genre, the two actors were spotted filming a tender scene at a beach bar yesterday.

Sandler, 43, and Aniston, 41, have been filming Just Go With It on the second biggest Hawaiian island of Maui with co-star Nicole Kidman since last month.

Just Go With It stars Sandler as a commitment-phone plastic surgeon, who lies to his much younger girlfriend Beverly (played by Andy Roddick's model wife Brooklyn Decker) that he's married with children.

He enlists the help of his receptionist Palmer, a single mother played by Aniston, to pretend to be his 'estranged wife'.

But by the looks of the scenes filmed yesterday, it looks like Patrick may find himself falling for Palmer.

Also spotted at the beach bar yesterday was Kidman, who plays a character called Rea Ann Devlin.

While little has been disclosed about Kidman's character, Rea is obviously a good friend of Palmer, given the friendly scenes the two actresses have been seen filming.

Just Go With It marks Kidman's first romantic comedy since the critically-panned Bewitched five years ago.

Despite Kidman's being more successful for her more dramatic roles, Aniston has praised the redhead for being so naturally funny on set.

She told U.S. TV show Entertainment Tonight: 'I don't know why that beautiful woman doesn't do more comedies. She is absolutely hilarious.

'She's the easiest person to hang around, and fun and funny

Filming has been a real family affair with Kidman joined by 20-month-old Sunday Rose and Sandler on set with his daughters Sadie, three, and Sunny, 17 months.

Sandler admitted his eldest daughter Sadie isn't always 'nice' to Aniston.

He said: 'I call her "Fifty Fifty Sadie". When she's nice to Aniston, I'm in a good mood. When she's nuts I'm like, "Sadie, come here for a minute. That's Aniston! It's fine."'

Their reignited romance has been an open secret for months now.

But Jude Law and Sienna Miller chose to tell the world their love affair was back on in the most public way possible last night - by walking down the red carpet at one of New York's biggest social events of the year.

As the cream of the city's society - and much of Hollywood - watched, the smiling pair walked arm in arm, obviously keen to show they are very much an item.

They certainly stole the show at the Costume Institute Gala Benefit to celebrate the opening of the American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Sienna showed off her slender frame with a daring plunging neckline, in a black halterneck dress.

With her hair tied back the 28-year-old looked very much like she did in Alfie - the 2004 film in which she fell in love with Jude, 37.

The couple ended their engagement in 2005 following allegations that Jude had an affair with his children's nanny Daisy Wright.

Jude has three children, Rafferty, 13, Iris, nine, and Rudy, seven, with Sadie and another daughter, seven-month-old Sophia, with model Samantha Burke.

But they rekindled their romance last year and were seen on a Caribbean holiday together over the 2009 festive period.

The pair were rumoured to have become engaged again after Sienna was pictured wearing the vintage diamond ring Jude had given her during their first engagement - but on her right hand. But she didn't appear to be wearing it last night.

The A-list couple were recently seen viewing houses for sale in the pricey north London suburb of Highgate.

After splitting from boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, Halle Berry isn't wasting any time moping around.

Following a week in New York, the Oscar winner looked like she was revelling in being back in the company of her two-year-old daughter Nahla as they played on the beach near their Malibu home.

Berry's secret split from Aubry several months ago was made public last Thursday as the actress stepped out solo on the red carpet at a charity event.

The actress's representative confirmed over the weekend 'they have been split for some time, but remain friends and committed parents to their daughter'.


Berry spent Sunday afternoon walking on the beach with Nahla, pointing out passing boats and animal wildlife as they played on the shore.

Little Nahla looked adorable in a green vest and white shorts, while her mum showed off her impressive figure in a pair of denim shorts and a three quarter length T-shirt.

Berry jetted back to LA on Saturday evening after completing the Revlon charity 5k walk/run to raise money for breast and ovarian cancer in Manhattan earlier that day.

Contrasting reports claim both Aubry or Berry was the one who decided to end their relationship.

A source close to Berry told America's People magazine: 'They’re very amicable in healthy ways because of their child. Her main concern is for the health and happiness of her daughter.'

The source also shot down claims Berry had found a new boyfriend after she pictured holding hands with a mystery man outside a theatre in New York on Friday night.

The insider added: 'They’re old friends. The photographers were chasing them so he just instinctively grabbed her hand.'

First to confirm they had parted ways, Aubry hit out the 'wild inaccuracies' concerning their split after reports claimed he had left Berry after finding himself attracted to other women.

He said: 'I am sad to say that Halle and I have decided together to separate at this time.

'She is, and will forever be, one of the most special and beautiful people that I have ever known, and I am certain that we will continue to have only love and respect for one another.

'(Nahla's) happiness and well-being are the most important thing for both of us. Please respect our privacy during this very difficult time.'

The actress friends wore matching patterned floor-length maxi dresses - Eva's green, Liv's red - each teaming them with brown leather sandals and oversized sunglasses.

Walking hand-in-hand they nipped for a iced coffee yesterday, before looking around the exclusive Marc Jacobs store in West Village, New York.

Liv, 32, recently returned from a trip to Disneyland Paris, with her five-year-old son Milo.

It's no surprise that she and 36-year-old Eva have such similar taste in clothing.

The pair have previously been spotted attending catwalk shows together - including Dior - and have found themselves the subject of 'Who wore it better' columns after stepping out in identical dresses.

Despite her modelling roles, Tyler said she wants to keep both her careers.

She said: 'God I love my life, I feel really grateful and blessed I get to do the work that I do.

'I really enjoy it tremendously and I would never want to pick one over the other because I enjoy both parts of it, and both worlds so much and I always really enjoyed making films and my heart is definitely in that process.

'But I also really love the fashion industry because I grew up in it and I feel really lucky to be invited into it.'

Merseyside teenager Stephanie Davis became the fifth Dorothy wannabe to leave Over The Rainbow last night.

The 17-year-old said she was 'gutted' after Andrew Lloyd Webber chose to save Steph Fearon after the two girls went head-to-head in a sing-off after they received the fewest votes from the public.

The two competitors attempted to stay in by singing Tell Me On A Sunday, prompting Andrew Lloyd Webber to use his casting vote to save Steph, 21.

He said: 'I know what both of you can do - you're both extraordinarily talented.
'I don't think this is the right pair, but all things considered the person I have to save is Steph.'

Stephanie, who lives with her parents and two younger brothers in Prescot, said: 'I'm gutted.

'I'm absolutely devastated because I wasn't ready to go - it was too soon. I feel I had so much more to give.

'But I've loved every minute of it. It's been an amazing journey and I've learnt so much.

In last night's 'big band' show, Stephanie received a mixed reaction following her rendition of Mr Bojangles, described as a 'very difficult song for a girl'.

Expert panellist John Partridge said he did not understand the story - of a tap-dancing man in prison remembering his dead dog - while Charlotte Church disagreed and praised Stephanie for bringing a 'new and fresh' interpretation.

Lord Lloyd-Webber said: 'That's a very difficult bittersweet song, very difficult for a girl to sing: it's about a man in prison. You could maybe have told two sides to the story more.'

Stephanie said Mr Bojangles may not have been the best choice for her and wanted the chance to show 'different' sides to her performance.

After performing, she said she knew she would be voted off and added: 'I had a gut feeling - a feeling across my chest - so I was prepared.'

Stephanie has had small roles on a number of TV shows including Doctors, Holby City and The Outsiders.

Her plan now is to move to London and pursue a career 'doing her dream', she said.

The remaining six hopefuls will be whittled down to four next week in a double-elimination special with one contestant leaving on Saturday and another on Sunday.

She was supposed to be the support act. But as it turned out, Cheryl Cole ended up being the main event.

The singer managed to upstage The Black Eyed Peas last night as the American band played the first night of their European tour in Dublin.

Cheryl looked stunning and showed off her toned legs in a pair of her trademark slashed trousers which she teamed with a sultry corset-style bodice.

The 26-year-old X Factor judge even managed to out fox BEP frontwoman Fergie, with rapper Will.i.am declaring: 'Cheryl Cole's so sexy.'

Fergie slipped into a range of ensembles for the gig at Dublin's O2 Arena, including a robotic-inspired catsuit complete with a Terminator-style metal hand.

Cheryl kicked off proceedings by performing a selection of hits from her album 3 Words, which Will.i.am helped to produce, in front of a cheering crowd of around 14,000 people.

But it could well be one of the last performance she does using her married name, Cole.

According to reports she is planning to revert to her maiden name Tweedy or may just go by her first name when she releases her next record.

Pop star Mariah Carey has famously pledged to renew her wedding vows to husband Nick Cannon every year – but next time she may want to consider wearing a slightly larger dress.

The singer appeared in danger of falling out of her skin-tight gown at the ceremony, held at the couple’s Beverly Hills mansion on Friday.

The celebration took place exactly two years after their wedding on Ms Carey’s estate in the Bahamas. The couple first met on the Caribbean island of Antigua when Mr Cannon took part in the filming of the music video for her song Bye Bye.

The couple listened to traditional wedding music, exchanged rings and kissed before Mr Cannon, an actor and radio show host, presented his wife with an engraved bracelet.

Speaking of the couple’s plans to renew their vows every year, Mr Cannon, who at 29 is 12 years younger than his superstar wife, said: ‘I encourage everybody to do it. If you are happy and in love, celebrate it.

But the couple divorced in 1998 amid Ms Carey’s claims that she had been ‘mentally and emotionally’ abused during the relationship.

Ms Carey is one of the world’s most successful recording artists, selling 170million records and amassing a fortune worth an estimated £150million.

And with a reputation for being one of the music industry’s biggest divas, perhaps her huge entourage didn’t have the courage to tell her to get a dress in a bigger size.
