Stick em up! Josh Duhamel looks armed and dangerous on the set of Transformers

By Daily Mail Reporter

Freeze! Josh Duhamel in his military get up on the set of the new Transformers film in Chicago yesterday

Josh Duhamel has joined the set of the new Transformers movie and the 37-year old actor got stuck right in shooting one of his many action sequences.

Wearing an all black military uniform and toting a large machine gun the handsome star looked every bit the action hero as he reprises his role of Major Lennox.

The star filmed on the set in a closed of part of central Chicago which has been made to look completely destroyed with overturned burnt out cars and piles of rubble. At one point he waved at waiting fans in-between takes.

'Affectionate': Josh Duhamel and wife Fergie of the Black Eye Peas dined out together in Chicago earlier in the week

Josh was spotted earlier in the week with his wife, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, enjoying a sushi dinner at Hub 51 in Chicago.

According to People.com the couple, who have recently dodged cheating rumours, toasted each other with wine and were affectionate, holding hands as they left.

The day before, Shia LeBeouf, 24, and Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley, 23, filmed their scenes for the film on the same set location.

They sprinted through piles of rubble and concrete as they filmed a fast paced scene surrounded by over turned cars and blown up statues.

British lingerie model Rosie, who is the face of Victoria's Secret, was signed up to star in what is thought to be the final instalment in the film series after Megan Fox decided to opt out.

The sci-fi action movie franchise is a hugely-successful reboot of the much-loved Eighties kids' cartoon in which cars and other vehicles can change, or transform, into robots.

The film began shooting in Los Angeles last week before heading to Chicago and then on to Florida, Milwaukee, Indiana and then back to LA.

The third movie also sees the addition of Patrick Dempsey, John Malcovich and Frances McDormand to the cast.

Shrek Forever After premiere: Cameron Diaz is no ogre in sexy little red dress

By Chris Johnson

Sexy ogre: Cameron Diaz put on a customary leggy display at the premiere of Shrek Forever After at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles last night

Her animated character Princess Fiona may well struggle to pull off a sexy little red dress.

But stunning Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz, who provides the voice for the bossy ogre, had absolutely no trouble.

The 37-year-old actress showed off her incredibly long legs in the revealing Oscar de la Renta frock at the Los Angeles premiere of Shrek: Forever After last night.

Diaz teamed her leggy look with a pair of skyscraper heels, wearing her long blonde hair over one shoulder.

The movie, which this time round is in 3D, is the fourth in the popular animated franchise from DreamWorks and will hit cinemas in the UK on July 2 (May 21 in the U.S.)

Antonio Banderas, who was also at the opening nigh with wife actress Melanie Griffith, reprises his role as Puss In Boots.

Standing tall: Diaz, who voices Princess Fiona, was joined by Mike Myers (Shrek)

Mike Myers, who voices ogre Shrek, is also back, as is Eddie Murphy, who gives the loveable Donkey his vocal chords. They were also on the red carpet at the Gibson Amphitheatre.

The new film sees Shrek now settled into domesticated life with his wife Fiona and their children.

But he feels over-domesticated and the local villagers are no longer scared by his ogrish roar.

Be my date: Actor Antonio Banderas (Puss In Boots) was supported by wife and actress Melanie Griffith

In a bid to regain his mojo, he strikes a deal with trickster Rumpelstiltskin to try and inject some excitement into his life again.

But the pact goes awry with Shrek being whisked away to to an alternate Far Far Away, where he never existed.

This translates to Donkey being forced into cart-pulling duty, while Puss in Boots, who has grown fat and lazy, trades in his sword for a pink bow.

At the helm is underhanded Rumpelstiltskin, ruling the kingdom.
Shrek Forever After is released in cinemas in the UK on July 2 (May 21 in the U.S.)

Jennifer Aniston shares a tender kiss with Adam Sandler... but it's just for their new movie

By Daily Mail Reporter

Getting up close and personal: Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler move in for a kiss as they film Just Go With It in Hawaii

Having spent the past few weeks shooting a romantic comedy in Hawaii, it was only a matter of time before Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler shared an on-screen kiss.

Fulfilling the predicable nature of the film genre, the two actors were spotted filming a tender scene at a beach bar yesterday.

Sandler, 43, and Aniston, 41, have been filming Just Go With It on the second biggest Hawaiian island of Maui with co-star Nicole Kidman since last month.

Passionate: Aniston and Sandler get into the swing of things as the cameras roll

Just Go With It stars Sandler as a commitment-phone plastic surgeon, who lies to his much younger girlfriend Beverly (played by Andy Roddick's model wife Brooklyn Decker) that he's married with children.

He enlists the help of his receptionist Palmer, a single mother played by Aniston, to pretend to be his 'estranged wife'.

But by the looks of the scenes filmed yesterday, it looks like Patrick may find himself falling for Palmer.

A-list trio: Aniston talks to co-star Nicole Kidman as Sandler discusses the scene with a cameraman

Also spotted at the beach bar yesterday was Kidman, who plays a character called Rea Ann Devlin.

While little has been disclosed about Kidman's character, Rea is obviously a good friend of Palmer, given the friendly scenes the two actresses have been seen filming.

Just Go With It marks Kidman's first romantic comedy since the critically-panned Bewitched five years ago.

Old friends: Aniston and Kidman films an over-the-top greeting at the beach bar

Despite Kidman's being more successful for her more dramatic roles, Aniston has praised the redhead for being so naturally funny on set.

She told U.S. TV show Entertainment Tonight: 'I don't know why that beautiful woman doesn't do more comedies. She is absolutely hilarious.

'She's the easiest person to hang around, and fun and funny

Carting around: Aniston and Kidman enjoy being driven around set on a golf cart

Run, Sandler, run: Aniston and Kidman enjoy a lift down to the beach while their co-star has to walk

Filming has been a real family affair with Kidman joined by 20-month-old Sunday Rose and Sandler on set with his daughters Sadie, three, and Sunny, 17 months.

Sandler admitted his eldest daughter Sadie isn't always 'nice' to Aniston.

He said: 'I call her "Fifty Fifty Sadie". When she's nice to Aniston, I'm in a good mood. When she's nuts I'm like, "Sadie, come here for a minute. That's Aniston! It's fine."'

'I thought I was wearing grey': Iron Man co-stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson both opt for grey at photocall

By Daily Mail Reporter

A grey day: Scarlett Johansson (left) and Gwyneth Paltrow both arrive at a photocall in Beverly Hills for Iron Man 2 with similar dresses

As the 'new girl' in the Iron Man movies, Scarlett Johansson must have spent hours choosing the right outfit to wear for her first cast photocall.

So it must have been a tad embarrassing for the actress at the Iron Man 2 photocall last night as her co-star Gwyneth Paltrow also opted for the same shade of dress.

The two women wore similar fitted, knee-length grey dresses, wore their blonde hair loose and nude-coloured lipstick.

Rather tellingly, the two women weren't pictured beside each other - strategically posing with Robert Downey Jnr and director Jon Favreau in between them.

Johansson, 25, showed off her hourglasses figure in a pale grey Roland Mouret dress and Christian Louboutin heels, while Paltrow, 37, flattered her svelte physique in a grey shift dress from Victoria Beckham's Spring/Summer collection and platform sandals.

The glamorous pair joined Downey Jnr, Favreau and co-stars Mickey Rourke and Don Cheadle at the press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, ahead of the film's world première on Monday.

The premiere was originally due to take place in London, but the decision was taken last week to move it to LA due to the flight disruption caused by the Icelandic volcano eruption.

Curvy: Johansson's Roland Mouret dress clung to her hourglass figure in all the right places

The two women's apparent lack of discussion about what they were wearing to the photocall will fuel further speculation they weren't friendly.

Having starred in the first film as Pepper Potts, Paltrow was reported to be upset role as the film's sex symbol was being replaced by Johansson.

To add insult to injury, Paltrow was missing from the promotional posters from Iron Man 2, while Johansson - dressed in a leather catsuit as the Black Widow - did feature in the images.

However, Paltrow's representative insisted she was 'not at all upset' about being missing from the posters.

The gang's all here: The women joined (L-R) Mickey Rourke, director Jon Favreau, Robert Downey Jnr and Don Cheadle

Playing down reports of a rivalry, Johansson said: 'I was so lucky because I had Gwyneth to counterbalance all that testosterone. It certainly was a bit of a boys’ club.

'Luckily I am entertained by all of that. I think that for the guys this movie was their playground, they had all of the big toys and all of the big action sequences.

'Luckily I exuded enough femininity to kind of quieten them down a little bit.'

Last year, Johansson denied reports she had sought dieting advice from Paltrow in a bid to slim down for her action role in the film.

She said: 'There was this rumour mill cranking out stories that I had lost 14 pounds - I could never lose 14 pounds. I hate seeing these ridiculous articles where [tabloids] guess someone's weight.

'I have a tumultuous relationship with (my weight) because I love to get ready for the red carpet, but being on it is very uncomfortable. It's so freakish and weird. I get flop sweats, dry mouth, heart palpitations, all over panic.'

James Bond film on hold 'indefinitely' amid uncertainty over film studio

By Emily Sheridan

Delayed: Daniel Craig, pictured in his 007 debut in Casino Royale four years ago, will have to wait even longer to reprise his role

James Bond fans will have to wait even longer to see next the instalment of 007's adventures after producers announced the next film is on hold.

Producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said they were suspending the 23rd Bond movie 'indefinitely' amid uncertainty of the future of the studio behind the franchise.

The forthcoming film - the third featuring the latest Bond Daniel Craig - was originally scheduled for release in 2011 or 2012 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Bond

However, as MGM is yet to find a buyer after being unable to manage its $3.7million debt following a slump in DVD sales.

Wilson and Broccoli, of EON Productions, said: 'Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development on Bond 23 indefinitely.'

In a statement, Craig added: 'I have every confidence in Barbara and Michael's decision and look forward to production resuming as quickly as possible.'

Craig made his debut as 007 in Casino Royale in 2006, following by Quantum Of Solace in 2008.

Ladykiller: Craig in a typical Bond love scene with Gemma Arterton in Quantum Of Solace

He is the sixth actor to play Bond, following in the footsteps of Sir Sean Connery (62-67 and 71), George Lazenby (69), Roger Moore (73-85), Timothy Dalton (87-89) and Pierce Brosnan (95-02).

Casino Royale, adapted from the 1953 Ian Fleming novel of the same name, took $594million in the worldwide box office.

Quantum Of Solace, which included Gemma Arterton and Olga Kurylenko as Bond girls, did nearly as well two years later with $586million.

MGM's financial woes have also contributed to the delay of Peter Jackson's adaptation of JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit.

The New Zealander director is hoping to repeat his phenomenal success from the three Lord Of The Rings movies and has re-cast Sir Ian McKellan and Andy Serkis in their roles as Gandalf and Gollum.

In a recent interview, Jackson said he was declining to fix a release for the movie due to studio delays.

He said: 'We’ve just delivered the script…So the studio’s got both scripts now, which is a milestone.

'We’re now in the process of budgeting the films…I’d be pretty optimistic that we’ll be shooting before the end of the year. I would imagine October, November, we’d be shooting by. I’m not announcing it, though.'

Marketing catastrophe for Uma Thurman as new film Motherhood takes just £88 on opening weekend

By Daily Mail Reporter

Disaster: Uma Thurman's latest film Motherhood has bombed at UK cinemas, making just £88 in its opening weekend

Uma Thurman's latest film has bombed at the British box office - making just £88 in its opening weekend.

The movie, which tells the story of a stressed mother attempting to raise her children and pursue a writing career, was watched by just one person when it opened last Sunday, meaning it took only £9 on its first day.

Over the entire opening weekend, no more than 12 people went to see the film, which cost $5million to make and also stars Minnie Driver and a cameo by Jodie Foster.

When contacted about the dismal failure of Motherhood, producer Jane Edelbaum said: 'You're kidding? We must have broken a new record for grosses!'

While Motherhood took just over £40,000 in the U.S. when it opened last year, Edelbaum blames Metrodome, the company in charge of promoting the film in the UK, for its extraordinary lack of success in Britain.

She told The Guardian: 'Think about how much crap succeeds at the cinema. Motherhood is not bad. It's a very decent movie. I've seen movie that are not half as good.'

Minnie Driver starred alongside Thurman in the film

Renowned film critic Barry Norman, who famously fronted BBC Film programme, added: 'Good God. I have never heard of anything like this before.

'This is not some small, independent movie. It's astonishing that only about 11 people could be bothered to go and see Uma Thurman.

'The reviews were very poor indeed but that alone isn't enough to explain this. It's a reasonable assumption that there was a marketing and advertising catastrophe and people didn't know it was showing.'

Mr Norman also referenced he decision to only allow one British cinema chain, Apollo, to show the film for its failure.

He added: 'It should really have attracted more than 11 people in passing trade alone. Apollo cinemas, after all, aren't in tucked away places. They are all prominently located.'

Sahara, starring (left to right) Steve Zahn, Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz made a $121million loss

Gigli, which starred real-life couple of the time Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, made a loss of $66million

However, despite its dismal takings, Motherhood is not officially Britain's lowest grossing film on its opening weekend.

That doubtful honour was bestowed on 2007 movie My Nikifor, a film about Polish artist Nikifor Krynicki, which took just £7 on its debut weekend.

Other films to have flopped at the box office include Sahara, starring Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz, which made a $121million loss and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's now infamous movie Gigli, which made a loss of $66million

Expectant mothers Sam Taylor-Wood, Jools Oliver and Claudia Schiffer take over the red carpet at Kick-Ass premiere

By Simon Cable

Battle of the bumps: Artist Sam Taylor-Wood and model Claudia Schiffer show off their rapidly expanding waistlines with partners Aaron Johnson and Matthew Vaughn at the premiere of Kick-Ass in London

With rapidly expanding baby bumps, they might have been tempted to take things a little easier.

But celebrity mothers-to-be were out in force on the red carpet last night despite the lashing rain.

Sam Taylor-Wood was not clearly not going to let her pregnancy stop her from supporting her 19-year-old fiancé's big moment.

Not only did she manage to brave the freezing conditions at the premiere of Aaron Johnson's latest film Kick-Ass, she managed to hold her own in the glamour stakes too.

The 42-year-old wisely opted for a loose-fitting - albeit thigh-length - Matthew Williamson dress.

Johnson, who is to wed Taylor-Wood later this year, said he was 'so excited' about becoming a father.

Supportive: Taylor-Wood's fiancé Aaron Johnson stars in the film

Expecting: Jamie Oliver brought along his pregnant wife Jools

It was left to another expectant mother to squeeze into something a little tighter.

Jamie Oliver's wife Jools, 35, who is four months pregnant with the couple's fourth child, slipped into skin-tight jeans and T-shirt with a vintage black jacket.

But it was Claudia Schiffer who stole the show in a figure-hugging, patterned Alice Temperley dress.

The 39-year-old supermodel revealed to the Daily Mail that she and her husband, director Matthew Vaughn, are expecting a girl in May, saying: 'We just found out, we're thrilled.'

And baby comes too: Brad Pitt, Claudia Schiffer and Matthew Vaughn

Mobbed: Pitt arrived without his partner Angelina Jolie

Jane Goldman, who wrote the screenplay of the film about a young superhero, arrived in typically flamboyant fashion wearing a pink polka-dot dress with a plunging neckline.

The film is based on a comic book by Mark Millar, with Brad Pitt helping to produce it.

Pitt arrived without Angelina Jolie.

Watch out: Jane Goldman steals the show in a daring dress as she arrives with husband Jonathan Ross

Close: Ross keeps his eyes on his wife

The film has been criticised for its use of bad language and features actress Chloe Moretz, who was 11 at the time of filming, repeatedly swearing and killing other characters.

Matthew Vaughn, the film's director, defended the film, which has a 15 rating, saying: 'It's pretty amazing that four letters can have such a powerful effect on people.

'You know, taboos have to be broken,' he added. 'It's a free country and you don't have to watch it. There are enough people who like this film to warrant it being made.'

Robert Pattinson mania hits London as hundreds of screaming fans gather for Remember Me premiere

By Daily Mail Reporter

Big night: Robert Pattinson joined his Australian co-star Emilie De Ravin at the London premiere of his new film Remember Me

London's West End was besieged with hundreds of teenage girls last night as they clambered for a glimpse of their idol Robert Pattinson.

The 23-year-old actor was greeted by screaming fans as he arrived for the Leicester Square premiere of his new film Remember Me.

Some fans had camped out since Tuesday to get a prime position ahead of the star-studded screening.

Mania: Pattinson was greeted by hundreds of screaming fans

The Londoner made sure he rewarded their patience by signing autographs and posing for photos with the hysteric pubescent crowd.

Modest Pattinson, dubbed RPatz by fans, admitted he was still getting used to the fan hysteria, which kicked off in 2008 when he first played vampire Edward Cullen in the first Twilight movie.

He said: 'I never go to places where crowds congregate, so it's always a novelty. It's a completely separate aspect of my life. It's nice.'

Strike a pose: Pattinson poses for a photo with one lucky fan

He said he was grateful the success of Twilight was rubbing off on the low-budget Remember Me.

Pattinson explained: 'The idea that Twilight can help little independent films push through Alice In Wonderland and £100million budgets is nice.'

Predictably nowhere to be seen was his Twilight co-star and real-life girlfriend Kristen Stewart, who avoids making public appearances as a couple with Pattinson.

Instead, he posed for photos on the red carpet with his Australian co-star Emilie De Ravin, who looked cute in a black lacy mini-dress and studded heels

Barelegged: Emilie De Ravin (left) looked cute in a black lacy mini-dress and studded heels, while Bianca Gascoigne made a fashion faux pas in her black and pink outfit with clashing green clutch

The film stars Pattinson as university student Tyler, who is estranged from his father Charles (Pierce Brosnan) after the suicide as his brother.

He finds himself drawn to Lost actress De Ravin's Ally - to the chagrin of her protective father Neil (Chris Cooper).

The drama includes some steamy love scenes between Pattinson and De Ravin, including one where they enjoy a clinch in the shower.

Making a colourful entrance at the premiere was reality TV star Bianca Gascoigne, in a floral mini-skirt, bright pink blouse and matching heels, which she combined with a clashing green clutch bag.

Flashing some legs: Australian actress Holly Valance in bright blue (left), Dancing With The Stars evictee Emily Atack in white (centre) and model Olivia Inge

Looking more subtle was recent Dancing On Ice evictee Emily Atack, who showed off her skating-toned figure in a tight white dress and shoe boots.

Also providing some glamour was Australian singer/actress Holly Valance and model Olivia Inge.

Among the celebrity couples in attendance were Pattinson's Harry Potter co-star Tom Felton with his girlfriend Jade Olivia and tennis star Greg Rusedski and wife Lucy.

• Remember Me is due for release in the UK on April 2.

Jennifer Aniston dazzles at premiere in a gorgeous Grecian dress (but isn't this showmance routine getting a little tired?)

By Daily Mail Reporter

Here we go again: Gerrard Butler and Jennifer Aniston put on a familiar show as they attend the New York premiere of Bounty Hunter last night

She usually plays it safe on the red carpet in her favourite look - a little black dress - but last night Jennifer Aniston pulled out all the stops for the New York premiere of her new romcom, Bounty Hunter.

The actress, 41, surprised the crowd with a nude-colored, Grecian jersey dress by Donna Karen which skimmed neatly over her incredibly toned physique.

But there was another element to the night which was far more predictable - her over-the-top display of friendly affection with co-star Gerrard Butler.

Grecian goddess: The actress, 41, looked elegant in the Donna Karen design

It's a familiar sight for seasoned red carpet watchers, who have seen the pair put on similar displays at the U.K. premiere in London last week and as far back as the Golden Globes in January.

The co-stars have also raved about one another on morning talk shows, late night chat programmes and magazine covers.

While they have clearly courted attention with persistent touchy-feely routines and gushing comments, the pair have simultaneously denied any romantic links

Gooey eyes: Jennifer gazes adoringly at Gerrard, but is it just good acting?

Oh you guys! Giggles and hugs are part of the pair's over-the-top red
carpet routine

It has lead skeptics to brand the union a 'showmance' - a fake romance designed to generate buzz about the movie, which by early accounts, needs all the help it can get to achieve box office success.

Just last night, the Scottish actor called Jennifer his 'most treasured possession', while she gushed: 'He's a guy and he's also got a heart.'

But Jennifer insists their relationship is genuine and platonic.

Arm in arm: The pair are certainly working overtime to generate Bounty
Hunter buzz

She says: 'You know there's all this stuff about calculating... that me and Gerry are in this fake relationship for the press of our movie or the selling of it.

'It's just so insulting at the same time, but again it's the story... I'm getting to a better place in understanding that they're just making money.'

Those who can't get enough of Jen and 'Gerry', as she calls him, can catch them on UK screens in the Bounty Hunter from today.

Angelina Jolie gets closer to Johnny Depp as they take a cruise on Venice's famous canals

By Daily Mail Reporter

Closer than close: A relaxed Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie enjoyed a romantic boat ride as they continued filming on movie The Tourist in Venice

Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp continue to get closer as they continued filming for their new thriller in Venice.

The Hollywood actors enjoyed a short cruise on Venice's famous canals as they resumed filming on The Tourist. But it could quite easily have been mistaken for something a bit more romantic.

River taxi! The pair sat in the boat's cabin as they got around the watery city in typical Venetian style

Filming has been dogged by rumours that Depp's long-term partner is unhappy with him filming love scenes with Angelina

Dressed in the beige outfit she has been seen in on numerous occasions, Angelina, 34, smiled broadly as she rode beside Depp, 46, seemingly oblivious to the rumours that his long-term partner is unhappy at the onscreen pairing

The new film centres around an American tourist named Frank Taylor, Depp, who is used by an Interpol agent, Cara Mason (Jolie), to help capture a criminal she once had an affair with.

The pair will soon film an intense love scene in the movie based on crime author Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta novels

But French singer Paradis is said to be unhappy that Depp and Jolie are set to film an intense love scene for the film which is based on one of crime novelist Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta novels.

Jolie, famously fell in love with co-star Brad Pitt while shooting Mr & Mrs Smith together.

But while the pair looked suitably close onscreen, as soon as filming was over Angelina left Depp and dashed off to catch up with her children.

After the day's filming, a smiling Angelina caught up with three-year old daughter, Shiloh. and five-year-old sister Zahara. Sons Pax and Maddox were also in tow.
